Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The Sonoma Charter School Parent Teacher Organization welcomes all SCS parents, staff & faculty and members of the SCS community to join in the discussion of how parents, teachers & staff can work together to improve our school.

PTO Mission: Enrich the Sonoma Charter School by supporting students & staff and engaging parents & the community.

The Sonoma Charter School PTO is dedicated to serving the needs of the students, school and parent community by providing a centralized group that fosters parent involvement and allows for resources, talents & communication to be shared across all volunteer efforts, parent-driven activities, and fundraising.

To accomplish this mission, parents and teachers from SCS come together to build community through events, service, and information sharing.

Some of our events include: Back to School and End of Year Potlucks, Movie Nights, Talent Show, Spring Fair, and the Halloween Carnival.

We plan to organize community service events including a volunteering day at Pet’s Lifeline, at La Luz, and community work on the SCS campus this year.

The best way to find out about the Sonoma Charter School’s Parent Teacher Organization is to attend one of our monthly meetings.  These meetings are a great way to meet other parents and find out what’s going on at SCS. All our welcome – we hope to see you there.
