Sonoma Charter School

Penelope, originally from New York, has a B.A. in Fine Arts, an AMI Montessori teaching certificate, and teaching credentials in Fine Arts and Elementary Education from the University of California at Davis. She has been teaching since 1984 and has taught at Sonoma Charter School since 1996. Penelope has primarily taught fist/second grade at SCS, but she also worked as the Director's Assistant for two years and taught Kindergarten/first grade during that time. In addition to teaching first/second grade, she also serves as Cluster One Lead Teacher. Penelope served on the SCS School governing board for two and one half years. She is dedicated to providing the best education possible for her young students.
